CT Support Group
After 11 years with the original site that we designed, CT Support Group was ready for a refresh. The Connecticut-based organization has long been a trusted space for young adults navigating mental health challenges, and the new site needed to reflect that legacy while offering a more modern, accessible experience. Rebuilt in Wordpress, the redesign emphasizes clarity, connection, and ease of use. The clean, responsive layout highlights peer support and community, while intuitive navigation helps members quickly access resources and share experiences. The result is a welcoming platform that continues to strengthen the supportive network CT Support Group has cultivated for over a decade.
The new CT Support Group logo blends a talk bubble with the shape of Connecticut — tying together the group’s home state and its purpose: creating space for people to share stories, connect, and support one another.
The website’s main purpose is to provide a resource and forum for teens and young adults seeking help. Peer support can be accessed directly through mental health resources, as well as through the CT Support Group’s forum that is housed on the Discord platform.
An interactive resource map was developed to allow CT Support Group members the ability to add their own listings to help others find resources. Custom icons were developed for almost a dozen categories.
